Our professional staff has years of experience caring for families from all walks of life. We are leaders in our profession, with dedication to service and professional integrity.

Together, we'll design a memorial or funeral service that suits their needs now, and in the future. Our History

Our firm traces its roots back, deep into the 20th century, when our first facility was dedicated. Many years later, this location has seen renovations and changes, but has always been and will continue to be an integral part of this community.

Over the years, the original mission of the firm hasn't changed. We have always intended to provide the best, most professional services, complemented by the finest products. Today, we pride ourselves on being current with the major changes in funeral service trends - and bring those innovations and memorialization options to our client families with integrity and insight.

Our Valued Staff

Nicholas Jon Welzenbach, Managing Partner

Nicholas was born and raised in Kansas. Nicholas is a second generation family member working in funeral service for over 15 years. He moved to San Diego in 2000 to attend San Diego State University and obtained a degree in Business Management. He and his wife Kendall relocated to the Bay Area in October of 2008. He has since been managing Oak View Memorial Park and Higgins Funeral Chapel. He is an active member in the Antioch community and belongs to Antioch, Brentwood, Oakley and Pittsburg Chambers of Commerce. Nicholas and Kendall live in Walnut Creek.
Dianne Crotty, Office Manager

Diane was born in Canada and raised in Mideast Minnesota. She graduated Red Wing High school in 1966. She relocated to the Bay Area of California in 1970, where she worked in the Banking Industry for 13 years. In 1998 she joined Oak View Memorial Park as the Office Manager. She is very active at Moose Lodge and Elks Lodge in Pittsburg. She currently resides in Pittsburg and enjoys bowling and watching sports.
Joy Jordon-Leaver, Family Service Consultant

Joy was born and raised in Antioch, CA. She worked for a Local Major Manufacturing company for over 17 years in customer service, finance and workers compensation. Joy was a teacher to 2nd and 3rd graders at Antioch Christian Tutorial School, before working for 7 years in banking and loan processing. Joy has found her true home as part of Oak View Memorial Park in 2007 and works as a Family Service Counselor assisting our families in all aspects at the cemetery. She attends Cornerstone Christian Center and is a devoted mother of Roy and Rachelle and loving grandmother to Teelin, Kaleb and Eva.
Pamela Allen, Advanced Planner

Pam was born Port Smith, Virginia and was raised in many different cities with her military family. She attended and graduated from San Jose College of Medical Assisting in 1967. She worked in the Health Care field as an Orthopedic Technician for 17 years before owning and operating The Technical School of Orthopedics in Santa Clara. Pam was in orthopedic medical sales for over 30 years. She recently joined Oak View Memorial Park and works as an Advanced Planner assiting family with cemetery needs. Pam currently resides on Bethel Island.
Donald Nicholas, Crematory Operator

Don was born and raised in Antioch, CA. He graduated from Antioch High School. Don worked in the steel mills in Pittsburg for 10 years in addition to being a painter for 5 years. He became a part of Oak View Memorial Park in 1999 assisting in the daily maintenance of the cemetery and overseeing all large projects in the park. Don currently resides in Antioch.
Jose Hernandez, Grounds Superintendent

Jose was born and raised in Me Cha a Can, MX. He moved with his family to Brentwood, CA. in 1978. Jose worked in landscaping for 12 years before becoming a flooring specialist for 16 years. He joined Oak View Memorial Park in 2006 and assists in all irrigation development and daily maintenance within the park. He currently lives in Oakley with his wife Mirabel and is a proud father to his 2 daughters Maria Esperanza and Marielena and son Alejandro.
Lonnie Harding, Ground Maintenance

Lonnie was born and raised in Stockton, CA. He relocated to Antioch in 1977 where he worked at the Big Brick Marina for 2 years. Lonnie began his career with Oak View in 1979 where he has been dedicated to maintaining the grounds of the cemetery for over 30 years. Lonnie is an avid fisherman on the Delta and still currently resides in Antioch.
Joel Cornejo, Ground Maintenance

Joel was born and raised in Villa Jimenez, MX. He moved to Antioch in 1992 and worked in irrigation before joining Oak View Memorial Park in 1998. Joel has been dedicated to the maintenance of the cemetery for over 10 years and assists in all aspects of park improvements. He is the proud father of Joel Jr. and Vanessa and currently resides in Oakley.
Oscar Hernandez, Grounds Maintenance

Oscar was born and raised in El Paso, TX. His family relocated to the East Bay in 1959. Oscar worked construction and warehousing for over 30 year. He joined Oak View in 2004 and has been committed to the daily up keep of the cemetery. He and his lovely wife Roseanne reside in Pittsburg.
